Following His resurrection, Jesus ascended back to His heavenly throne at the right hand of the Father, not merely as the King of Kings or Lord of Lords, but as God Himself.
 
Consequently, God judged Himself as the sacrificial Lamb who would die on the cross, overcoming the death brought about by mankind's original sin, so that we may once again live in unison with God the Father.
 
It is Written: And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Mark 14:62 KJV
 
The gathering away, commonly known as the rapture of the church, is associated with various theories and timelines. While comprehensive Bible studies are essential for all believers, the ultimate goal is to be ready to meet Jesus Christ at any moment.
 
It is Written: in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 1st Corinthians 15:52 ESV
 
"Twinkling of an eye" signifies a moment that is instantaneous and transformative. This phrase emphasizes the suddenness of the event, leaving no time for preparation.
 
It is Written: For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. 1st Thessalonians 4:16-17 BSB
 
In my point of view, this series of events leads to Jesus reigning as King of Kings and Lord of Lords during His earthly millennial kingdom Reign.
 
Simultaneously, to the twinkling of an eye gathering away, the rapture of the church, the remaining global society will experience their seven-year earthly tribulation that will be split into two 42-month periods: the tribulation and the great tribulation.
 
During that time, compliance to conform, mark of the beast acceptance, and the rest of their insanity begins the quest of the Antichrist to get worshipped by his followers on the temple mount, in the rebuilt 3rd temple, where he declares himself to be god. This is the abomination of desolation mentioned in the book of Daniel.
 
The wedding feast celebration will highlight the Judgement Seat of Christ, where all Kingdom Laborers will experience a Time, Talent, and Treasures review of their inheritance of heavenly treasures, and their earned crowns as a Good and faithful servant. Again, and in my opinion, just maybe a one on one, question and answer period of time about things that always puzzled us during our earthly walk. I believe all will be done followed by a one year rest, to conclude with the seven year earthly tribulation. 
 
Upon fulfillment of scripture, Jesus and His followers, the church, would then arrive back on earth in their new bodies. Riding on a white horse, Jesus will assume the role of the Supreme World Leader as the warrior King. Jesus will emphasize His Divine Authority, and absolute sovereignty, over all earthly authority, demonic power and celestial forces ruling as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
 
It is Written: They will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will triumph over them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and He will be accompanied by His called and chosen and faithful ones." Revelation 17:14 BSB
